Install the mounts and then it’s just as easy as adjusting a few bolts when you want to take the VI-4000 on and off. Have a tonneau cover or a cap but don’t want to swap gates? No problem! Install this accessory and you can lock your truckbed. Once installed this insert can be removed and replaced with a screw driver or cordless drill allowing you to lock items in the bed of your truck (with a tonneau cover or cap) and not damage your tailgate.
